Preserving the earth is our top priority, which means we use chemical free and sustainable growing practices. We are not certified organic yet, but hope to be in the future.

Cruelty -free practice is at the forefront of our practices and planning. Meghan, farmer Ryan's wife and resident photographer, events coordinator and baker is vegan (plant based lifestyle and diet) and acts as a compass for decisions in which animals are involved. Right now we have bee hives which we made to support the declining bee population and in turn, to pollinate our wide variety of plants. All food products made by Meghan are vegan and any non food products that are made onsite will not contain animal products aside from perhaps beeswax or honey, or be tested on animals.

There has been many studies done on the harmful effects of chemicals we ingest with our foods. Everything from daily headaches, stomach and skin issues, and long term effects like some cancers can be linked to the use of chemical pesticides and food additives. Your health is so important to us, and we want to give you food and products that not only benefit you daily, but can help heal any ailments you have. Chemical free farming is better for the environment as we don't produce toxic run off that gets into our waterways, and keeps our wild animal friends healthy and populated.

Rainbow Rise has been in operation as a thoroughbred farm since the mid 1980s and has been owned by the same family since. Our produce and food forest operation started breaking ground in June of 2019 and has been growing into a lush, fruitful, and beautiful forest and garden over the last 2 years. We are happy to say that we are now growing enough chemical free produce to support the community of people who want to buy from local farms. Please come visit!
